9 . D’NISHA & AMBER GO AT IT IN TURKS

D’Nisha & Amber Go At It in Turks 🌴🔥

The sun was setting over Turks and Caicos, painting the ocean in shades of gold and orange. What was supposed to be a peaceful getaway had quickly turned into something nobody expected.

Anthony had planned the trip because he wanted everyone to get away from the drama back home.

But he should have known better.

Wherever Amber and D’Nisha were in the same place, peace never lasted long.

At first, everything seemed surprisingly calm.

Anthony stood near the balcony of the villa, looking out over the water while D’Nisha sat nearby with a drink in her hand.

“This place is beautiful,” D’Nisha said softly.

Anthony smiled.

“I wanted you to have a few days where you didn't have to worry about everybody else's problems.”

D’Nisha looked at him.

“You sure about that?”

Anthony laughed.

“With our family? I should've known better.”

Neither of them noticed Amber standing several feet away.

She had just walked outside.

And she had heard everything.

Amber folded her arms.

“So that's what this trip is?”

Anthony turned around.

“Amber…”

“No, it's okay,” she said. “I just didn't realize I was walking into a romantic vacation.”

D’Nisha slowly stood.

“Amber, nobody said—”

“You don't have to say it,” Amber interrupted.

Anthony stepped between them.

“Let's not start this.”

Amber stared at him.

“I'm not starting anything.”

D’Nisha shook her head.

“Then why are you talking to me like I'm the problem?”

Amber's eyes narrowed.

“Because every time I turn around, you're there.”

D’Nisha took a step forward.

“And every time I try to move forward, you're reminding everybody of the past.”

The atmosphere immediately changed.

Anthony sighed.

“Please. We're in Turks. Can we just have one peaceful night?”

Amber looked at D’Nisha.

“I came here expecting respect.”

D’Nisha answered calmly.

“And I've been respectful.”

Amber laughed.

“Respectful?”

“Yeah.”

“Then maybe you should've respected the history I have with Anthony.”

D’Nisha's expression changed.

“And maybe you should respect the fact that history doesn't automatically mean the future.”

Anthony's eyes widened.

“Okay. That's enough.”

But neither woman was backing down.

Amber stepped closer.

“You think because Anthony is spending time with you, everything from the past disappeared?”

D’Nisha responded, “No. I think Anthony is allowed to make his own choices.”

Amber looked at Anthony.

“Is that what you're doing?”

Anthony didn't answer immediately.

That silence said more than anything.

Amber shook her head.

“Wow.”

She turned and walked inside.

D’Nisha looked at Anthony.

“You need to talk to her.”

Anthony nodded.

“I know.”

But before he could follow Amber, his phone buzzed.

He looked down.

Unknown Number.

We need to talk. I know what happened before the trip.

Anthony's smile disappeared.

D’Nisha noticed.

“What is it?”

“Nothing.”

“Anthony…”

He put the phone away.

“I'll handle it.”

But D’Nisha could tell something was wrong.

Later that night, everyone gathered around the outdoor dining table.

The mood was tense.

Nobody was laughing anymore.

Amber sat at one end of the table.

D’Nisha sat across from her.

Anthony was caught directly between them.

Then Amber suddenly spoke.

“So, D’Nisha, are you actually serious about Anthony?”

The table became silent.

D’Nisha looked up.

“Yes.”

Amber nodded slowly.

“That's all I wanted to know.”

D’Nisha frowned.

“Why?”

“Because if you're serious, then you should know everything.”

Anthony immediately interrupted.

“Amber, don't.”

Amber looked at him.

“Why?”

“Because this isn't the time.”

Amber smiled bitterly.

“You've been saying that for months.”

D’Nisha looked between them.

“What aren't you telling me?”

Anthony stood.

“Nothing.”

Amber shook her head.

“Tell her.”

Anthony's face tightened.

“Amber.”

D’Nisha stood too.

“Tell me what?”

Amber looked directly at D’Nisha.

“Ask him what happened between us before you came into the picture.”

D’Nisha turned toward Anthony.

Anthony rubbed his forehead.

“There are things from the past that don't need to be dragged into this.”

D’Nisha's voice became quieter.

“That's not an answer.”

Suddenly Amber stood.

“You want the truth?”

Anthony stepped toward her.

“Don't do this.”

But Amber was already emotional.

“I spent years believing we could fix things.”

D’Nisha replied, “And that's something you need to work out with Anthony.”

Amber snapped back.

“Don't tell me what I need to work out!”

D’Nisha stepped closer.

“And don't blame me for decisions Anthony made!”

The argument exploded.

Voices rose.

Anthony tried to separate them.

“Both of you, stop!”

But D’Nisha pointed toward Amber.

“I never asked you to like me. But I'm not going to stand here while you make me feel guilty for moving forward.”

Amber answered, “And I'm not going to pretend everything is okay just because we're on vacation!”

Anthony finally shouted:

“ENOUGH!”

Everyone froze.

The ocean waves crashed behind them.

Anthony looked at both women.

“This is exactly what I didn't want.”

Amber's eyes filled with tears.

“You made this happen.”

Anthony stared at her.

“How?”

“Because you brought both of us here without dealing with what was still unresolved.”

D’Nisha looked at Anthony.

“She's right about one thing.”

Anthony turned toward her.

“What?”

“You can't expect me to build something with you while pieces of your past keep showing up.”

Anthony was stunned.

D’Nisha grabbed her bag.

“I need some air.”

She walked away.

Anthony started after her.

But Amber stopped him.

“Let her go.”

Anthony turned.

“Why?”

“Because if you chase her right now, you're going to make everything worse.”

Anthony stared at Amber.

“You're the reason she walked away.”

Amber's face fell.

“No.”

She looked toward the ocean.

“You are.”

Anthony didn't respond.

Across the resort, D’Nisha walked toward the beach.

She sat alone, watching the waves.

Her phone buzzed.

A message appeared.

You deserve to know what Anthony hasn't told you.

D’Nisha stared at the screen.

Another message arrived.

Ask him about the night before you two got together.

Her heart began racing.

She looked back toward the villa.

Meanwhile, Anthony was standing outside with Amber.

“What did you do?” he asked.

Amber looked confused.

“What are you talking about?”

“D’Nisha just received a message.”

Amber's eyes widened.

“I didn't send anything.”

Anthony's phone buzzed again.

Another unknown message.

This isn't over.

Anthony looked at Amber.

Amber looked at Anthony.

Neither of them spoke.

Then D’Nisha appeared at the top of the stairs.

She was holding her phone.

“Anthony.”

He turned.

Her expression was completely different now.

“What happened?” he asked.

D’Nisha slowly walked toward them.

“I got messages.”

Anthony's stomach dropped.

“What messages?”

She held up her phone.

“Someone says you have been hiding something from me.”

Amber stepped forward.

“D’Nisha…”

“No.”

D’Nisha looked at Anthony.

“I want the truth from you.”

Anthony stared at the phone.

Then he looked at Amber.

And finally back at D’Nisha.

“You're not going to like what I have to say.”

D’Nisha's eyes filled with tears.

“Then say it.”

Anthony took a deep breath.

“There was something that happened before we got together.”

Amber closed her eyes.

D’Nisha whispered:

“What?”

Anthony finally said:

“I never told you because I was afraid I'd lose you.”

The entire villa went silent.

And just as D’Nisha was about to demand the full truth, another message appeared on her phone.

This one contained a photograph.

D’Nisha looked at it.

Her face went completely pale.

She slowly looked up at Anthony.

“You lied to me.”

Anthony froze.

Amber covered her mouth.

And somewhere in the distance, a phone began ringing.

Nobody knew who was calling.

But whoever it was clearly knew the secret that could change everything.
